Specialty Exam Results The clinical pathology exams were normal in this calf. The culture of the fracture site revealed Staph organisms and E.coli which were susceptible to amoxicillin and gentamicin, or second or third generation cephalosporins. The urinalysis was normal. The radiographs revealed a comminuted fracture with hypertrophic delayed union of the distal one-third of the metacarpus.
