Interpretation of Specialty exams: Based on radiographs we can rule out structural abnormalities to the long bones such as fracture and congenital abnormalities. We can also rule out arthritis, neoplasia, and inflammation of the stifle joint. In spite of physical exam findings it does appear that the quadriceps muscles are misaligned. Based on the orthopedic exam we can rule out ligament injuries although the exam did confirm patellar laxity.
