We numbered our hypotheses as we created the documents, rather than numbering them according to their ranking...  We WILL number appropriately in the future, but were a little overwhelmed at the notion of taking those files out in order to put them back in (the importing was a bit of a struggle - we know it will get easier) SO our ranking of hypotheses in order of likelihood is:

1. congenital joint malformation
2. nutritional problem
3. joint injury
