Prognosis

The prognosis is relatively good as long as none of the implants loosen prematurely.  This is a young animal and none of the fractures are open.  It is important that the patient is thoroughly monitored by both the clinician and the owner.  Furthermore, the prognosis is better if the owner restricts activity as instructed.
