Interpretation of Specialty Exams Radiographs The radiographs confirmed that there were comminuted fractures to the left femur and the right tibia and fibula. It also ruled out the possibility of fracture of the pelvis and hip joint luxation. Clinical Pathology The clinical pathology results showed that there was a slgiht hyperglycemia. This is probably due to increased gluconeogenesis due to increased cortisol levels due to stress and possibly the administration of steroids. Sodium and Chloride were also slightly low. This is probably due to diuresis from the shock therapy. The hematocrit was also reduced which could be due to hemorrhage and shock therapy.
