Management Plan
Activity should be limited; the patient should not be allowed to play roughly with the 
clients other dog.  This will help to prevent further injury and degenerative joint changes.
If there is continued periodic lameness N-SAIDS should administered to help alleviate 
pain.  Regular rechecks are recommended to asses disease progression.  If the condition 
continues to worsen and the above said treatment is ineffective, surgical intervention may 
be an option.
