Hypothesis 3: Infection / Inflammation

The rear leg lameness could be caused by an infection which is causing secondary 
inflammation.  The dog plays regularly with another dog and could have suffered an 
injury during play.  The injury could have become infected with bacteria within the stifle 
joint.
