Plan of Action: 1) Pelvic Radiographs- standard ventrodorsal and lateral views to examine the pathophysiology, if any, of the coxofemoral joint 2) CBC w/ differentials via blood sample to investigate the possibility of an inflammatory response 3) Blood culture- to rule out joint sepsis 4) Urine culture- to rule out joint sepsis *We feel the above would be a comprehensive plan of action. However, since our practice caters to a less fortunate clientele we feel that by performing only the radiographs and CBC that we will get enough information to determine a diagnosis. * We did not include a joint tap in our plan of action because there was no joint effusion noted on physical exam.
